Subject: Request for Investigation into Wilson Health for Medical Negligence and Patient Harm

Dear Governor DeWine, Attorney General Yost, and Executive Director Loucka,

I am writing to formally request that your offices conduct a thorough investigation into Wilson Health, a healthcare provider that has demonstrated repeated medical negligence, misdiagnoses, and failure to provide critical care to patients. As documented in the attached petition, numerous individuals have come forward with deeply troubling experiences of medical incompetence and substandard treatment, which, in many cases, have resulted in unnecessary suffering, delayed diagnoses of severe illnesses, and potentially preventable deaths.

Over the past several months, I have collected first-hand testimony from patients and families who have been directly impacted by Wilson Health’s actions. Many of these individuals have suffered due to the hospital’s failure to:

  • Properly diagnose and treat life-threatening conditions, including cancer.
  • Order necessary medical tests and procedures despite clear clinical indications.
  • Take patient complaints and symptoms seriously, leading to prolonged suffering.
  • Provide competent and ethical medical care as expected by state and federal standards.

These accounts have been compiled in a growing public repository at [This section Under Construction, will be up shortly] and demonstrate a systemic pattern of negligence. The undersigned individuals in this petition are willing to testify to their experiences, under oath if necessary, to ensure that no more patients suffer needlessly due to Wilson Health’s continued disregard for medical ethics and patient safety.

Our Requests for Immediate Action:

  1. A full investigation into Wilson Health’s medical practices, particularly regarding patient neglect and misdiagnoses.
  2. A review of medical licensing and oversight related to Wilson Health’s doctors and administrators.
  3. Stronger enforcement of accountability measures for healthcare providers in Ohio to ensure such negligence does not continue.

We believe that every Ohioan has the right to competent, ethical, and timely medical care. When healthcare providers fail in this duty, it is the responsibility of our state leadership to take action. We urge you to review the attached petition and evidence and take immediate steps to hold Wilson Health accountable.

We appreciate your prompt attention to this matter and look forward to your response on how your offices plan to address these serious concerns. I would be happy to provide further information, patient testimonies, and supporting documentation as needed.

Thank you for your time and commitment to ensuring safe and ethical healthcare in Ohio.

Sincerely,

Scott Rank
